Vice President meets outstanding children from Nghe An
The Vice President hailed the children’s study results and their enthusiastic participation in school activities, particularly those who have overcome their difficult living conditions to gain good academic performance.

She expressed her hope that the children will continue following Uncle Ho’s teachings , promoting their creativity while preserving and upholding the country’s culture.
She encouraged the children to support their classmates in studying, contribute to the school’s development, and nurture their dreams and aspirations to become good citizens of the country in the future.
She asked the Nghe An provincial Party Committee, authorities, and political and social organisations to pay greater attention to education and child protection while providing timely support for local disadvantaged children to help them rise above their difficulties.
Many practical and meaningful activities targeting children have been held in Nghe An province over the past years, including a contest on telling stories about Uncle Ho, a programme to build bookcases at schools, and the launch of a fund to support poor students.
In addition, scholarships worth over VND 10 billion have been presented to more than 20,000 children in the locality under a fund sponsored by the provincial youth union.
