An AFAD representative said the supplies will be distributed to hospitals and healthcare centres, where there is a serious shortage of medicine and emergency equipment.
Upon receiving Vietnam’s prompt assistance, Isamail Sahin, AFAD Deputy Director in Adiyaman, met Colonel Nguyen Minh Khuong, head of the Vietnamese mission, to express his thanks to the Vietnamese government and people.
After that, the Vietnamese delegation worked with the AFAD to transport the goods to designated areas, including Adiyaman’s largest hospital, for emergency and treatment purposes. The remaining goods will be delivered to makeshift hospitals.
