Vinh Nghiem pagoda’s three-entrance gate completed
The three-entrance gate of Vinh Nghiem pagoda project has been built in Muoi village since 2022 (about 6km from the gate to Vinh Nghiem pagoda). The total investment for the project is about 30 billion VND (1.2 million USD) sponsored by EverGreen Bac Giang Sustainable Development Joint Stock Company.

The main items of the project include the three-entrance gate item designed following the architecture of Vinh Nghiem pagoda with 2 floors, 7m width, 37m length and 20.65m height, the Buddha worshipping place with 3 white stone Buddha statues of 3m height, 2 patterned altars with worship items made from blue stones, reinforced concreted structure, painted wooden stands and block- stone stairways and the concreted road connecting the provincial road 293 to the three-entrance gate of 20m length and 39m width with pavements and green trees on the road sides.
At the event, the representatives of the company and Vinh Nghiem pagoda signed the project handover minute. The construction of the three-entrance gate of Vinh Nghiem pagoda helped to diversify Buddhist buildings in Bac Giang province, lengthen the pathway for Buddhism propagation and provide Bac Giang Buddhist Sangha and Vinh Nghiem pagoda with a big and meaningful building and worshipping place for people and Buddhism followers.
Vinh Nghiem pagoda located in Tri Yen commune, Yen Dung district is a great ancient pagoda, which used to be the Buddhist training center during nearly 10 centuries of foundation and development of Truc Lam Yen Tu Buddhism. This pagoda is considered a typical Buddhist culture museum in Vietnam by historical and cultural researchers.
Especially, the Buddhist woodblocks preserved at the pagoda including more than 3,000 blocks retaining big linguistic, literature, medical, fengshui and artistic values was recognized by UNESCO as the world documentary heritage in Asia-Pacific region. Vinh Nghiem pagoda was ranked as a special national relic by Prime Minister in 2015.
