Visit Vietnam Year 2023 to feature various activities

The south-central coastal province of Binh Thuan will be the host of the 2023 Visit Vietnam Year, themed “Binh Thuan – Green Convergence”.

The information was released at a press conference, held jointly by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Binh Thuan provincial People’s Committee, on November 23.

The 2023 Visit Vietnam Year will feature 204 events and activities, including 13 at the national level hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and other ministries and centrally-run agencies.

Binh Thuan province will organise 31 attractive cultural, sports and tourism activities, that will take place throughout next year.

In addition, 164 other events will be held in 41 provinces and cities.

The highlight of the 2023 Visit Vietnam Year will be a ceremony to officially announce the Year, which will be associated with the Countdown on December 31, in Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province.

The opening ceremony for the 2023 Visit Vietnam Year is expected to be held in March 2023, in Phan Thiet city. Meanwhile, the closing ceremony is slated for December 2023.
