Long said at the end of last year, Leyla Milani directly messaged him to ask to buy a dress, after seeing a photo of Do My Linh, Miss Vietnam 2016, on Instagram.

The actress asked the designer to send more photos of the dress and information about the material before deciding to place the order.

Long gathered a team of tailors to work on and complete the gown with Leyla’s measurements within a week.

The designer said: "Sewing an evening gown without taking measurements directly and letting the customer try on the clothes made me a little nervous. She complimented the dress after seeing through photos of the final product. But when she said it fits perfectly after trying it on without having to fix anything, I felt very relieved."

He said the dress is inspired by the image of the famous Grand Canyon. The fashion house has transformed the rough image of mountain rocks into a concept fit for an elegant evening gown while enhancing the figure of the wearer.
