Winners of 2018 national press award on traffic safety named

Winners of the 2018 national press award on traffic safety were announced at a ceremony in Hanoi on April 3.

According to the organizers, as of November 30, 2018, the contest had received 1,021 entries of individuals and collectives from 40 units nationwide.

The jury chose from the most 32 outstanding works to present two first, five second, 10 third and 15 consolidation prizes.

Through their articles, participating journalists reflected urgent and newly emerging issues in the field of transport as well as in traffic safety.

They also highlighted transport development management mechanisms and orientations, state management over traffic safety, transportation business activities, and shortcomings in the construction and upgrade of infrastructure facilities.

At the event, Vice Chairman of the National Committee for Traffic Safety Khuat Viet Hung launched the national press award on traffic safety for 2019.

(BGO) – Mai Thuy Hang (5 years old) in Tan My Kindergarten School, Bac Giang city, Bac Giang province has been awarded the consolidation prize at the 8th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest for her picture of “Dream car helps mother harvest the crop”.

(BGO) - The Ministry of Public Security held organized a ceremony to honor the outstanding public security youths on the youth month 2019. 4 young officers and soldiers of Bac Giang province were honored to receive this award.

The winners of the third Bua Liem Vang (Golden Hammer and Sickle) Press Award were honoured at a grand ceremony at the Hanoi Opera House on January 25 night for their excellent works on Party building.
 
137 youths nominated for Vietnam Outstanding Young Faces Award 2018
Up to 137 youths, including 38 young women and nine individuals from ethnic minority backgrounds, have been nominated for the Vietnam Outstanding Young Faces Award 2018, with the oldest being 35 years old and the youngest reaching just seven years old, according to the organizers.
