Italy and Romania have pledged to provide over 1.1 million doses of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine to Vietnam.

Eighty artists have auctioned their paintings online and raised more than VND1 billion (around $44,000) to buy more beds and ventilators for a Covid-19 field hospital.

Pope Francis has sent €100,000 ($117,406) to Vietnam in an emergency aid amid the Covid-19 pandemic, the Vatican stated in a Tuesday press release.
