Li-Ning Vietnam International Series 2024: Vietnam team wins 9 tickets to quarterfinals
BAC GIANG - On November 14, the 1/16 round of the Li-Ning Vietnam International Series 2024 continued to take place at the Bac Giang Provincial Gymnasium in all categories of men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.
During the day, the Vietnamese athletes competed in 26 matches in all categories and won 9 matches.

The highlight was the women's singles match between Vu Thi Trang and Pei Chu Chen of Taiwan (China). Vu Thi Trang quickly finished two sets with scores of 21-10 and 21-9. Similarly, in the mixed doubles match against two young players from Taiwan, Vietnamese athletes Tran Dinh Manh - Pham Thi Khanh won 2-0. In other events, most of the Vietnamese players won overwhelmingly from the start.

This helped Vietnam win 9 tickets to the quarterfinals, including Tran Dinh Manh - Pham Thi Khanh, Nguyen Dinh Hoang - Nguyen Vu Ngoc Tran, Pham Van Truong - Bui Bich Phuong in mixed doubles; Vu Thi Trang and Tran Thi Anh in women's singles; Nguyen Dinh Hoang - Tran Dinh Manh and Nguyen Van Mai - Pham Van Truong in men’s doubles and Than Van Anh - Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan; Nguyen Huyen Trang - Pham Thanh Hang in women’s doubles.
On November 15, the athletes enters the quarter-finals.
