Tan Yen district arranged 6 vaccination points for children aged 5 to under 12 in the communes of Ngoc Ly, Que Nham, Quang Tien, Lam Cot, Ngoc Chau and Cao Thuong town. The district Medical Center assigned emergency team on duty at each point.

At the end of day, the district injected 426 first Covid-19 vaccine shots for children who are in stable health condition without severe reaction.

At the same day, seven districts and city in the province organized vaccination for people, in which Tan Yen, Lang Giang and Luc Ngan district administered first shot for children aged 5 to under 12; Luc Nam and Hiep Hoa district injected first and second shots of Covid-19 vaccine for the above mentioned children as well as fourth shot for people aged over 18.

So far, over 143,100 people aged over 18 in Bac Giang province have been injected with four Covid-19 vaccine shots (nearly 11.2 percent of population), 62,200 children aged 5 to under 12 with first shot (nearly 24.8 percent) and nearly 6,600 children at same age group with second shot.

Two more African swine fever vaccines to be licensed in Vietnam by year-end
