Second support of 55 billion VND allocated to storm hit localities in Bac Giang
BAC GIANG - From voluntary donation to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3, the Bac Giang Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee in Bac Giang province has just allocated 55 billion VND (2.36 million USD) in the second phase of support for 9 districts and township.
Of which, Son Dong, Luc Ngan, Luc Nam districts each received 8 billion VND; Yen Dung, Hiep Hoa, Tan Yen received 6.5 billion VND for each; Yen The was allocated 4.5 billion VND; Lang Giang district and Viet Yen township each received 3.5 billion VND.

The Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee requested the relief mobilization board of districts and township to receive, manage, allocate and use funds promptly, effectively and in accordance with the law.
To date, the Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee has allocated 67.5 billion VND to support districts and township to overcome the consequences of the storm.
Previously, the Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee allocated 12.5 billion VND in the first phase of support to 8 districts: Son Dong (2 billion VND), Luc Ngan (2 billion VND), Luc Nam (2 billion VND), Yen The (1.5 billion VND), Yen Dung (1.5 billion VND), Hiep Hoa (1.5 billion VND), Tan Yen (1 billion VND), Lang Giang (1 billion VND).
By October 4, Bac Giang province received 108.3 billion VND and goods worth more than 14 billion VND from various donation to support storm hit localities overcome the consequences of storm No. 3. The Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee has strictly complied with the provisions of the law to ensure the allocation of support funds publicly, transparently and to the right subjects.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) on September 20 announced that it has allocated 2 million USD to support Vietnam in carrying out efforts to respond to Typhoon Yagi, which struck the country on September 7 and caused widespread devastation with more than 290 deaths and 237,000 homes damaged, and some 3 million people affected.
BAC GIANG - By 4:00 p.m. on September 19, the Mobilization Committee of Bac Giang Provincial Relief Fund (Mobilization Committee) had received nearly 72.5 billion VND (over 3.1 million USD) from agencies, units, businesses, organizations and individuals inside and outside the province to support Bac Giang people to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3.
A tropical depression in the East Sea/South China Sea has strengthened into a tropical storm, known as Soulik, which is expected to cause heavy rain in central Vietnam.
BAC GIANG - Storm No. 3 and its aftermath caused flooding and isolation in many areas of Bac Giang province. After the storm, the sun shines brightly again. Overcoming numerous difficulties, local people, businesses and agencies everywhere have made efforts to recover its consequences, gradually bring all activities back to normal.
BAC GIANG - On the morning of September 15, Huynh Thanh Xuan, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) visited, encouraged and presented funds to support union members and workers in Bac Giang province who suffered losses due to storm No. 3.
BAC GIANG - On September 14, a working delegation from Lam Dong province led by Pham S, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited Bac Giang province to encourage and support people affected by storm No. 3.
