17 inventors and groups of inventors awarded in Innovation Contest for youth and teenager

(BGO) – The People’s Committee in Bac Giang city on October 5 held a ceremony in Le Quy Don Secondary School to summarize the Innovation Contest 2018 for the municipal youth and teenager.

After 3 months, over 120 entries were submitted to the grassroots level, 35 of which were selected to the organization board of municipal level. The judge assessed that this year event drew diverse innovative ideas from youth and teenager inventors in the city, covering many social aspects with practical effectiveness in the study, entertainment and social lives.

A representative of Bac Giang municipal leader awards the first prize to the groups of inventors.

The organization board commended 2 collectives with outstanding achievement in executing and participating in the contest, namely Le Hong Phong Primary School and Le Quy Don Secondary School as well as awarded 17 models and products.

Two first prizes were handed to the group of inventors Pham Tuan Cuong (class 7A4, Le Quy Don Secondary School) and Pham Minh Toan (class 7A1, Ngo Si Lien Secondary School) with the model of “Forest fire detector and alarm” and group of student Nguyen Quoc Cuong, Nguyen Hoang Lan and Nguyen Duc Tuyen (class 11A3 in Thai Thuan Highschool) with the product of “Multifunctional stick for the blind”.

Besides, the organization board presented 4 second prizes, 4 third prizes, 5 consolidation prizes and as well as awarded the prize to youngest inventor or group of inventors with the most beautiful model.

The organization board took the occasion to launch the 2019 contest.
