Art programme promotes Vietnamese culture to the world
The programme featured diverse performances, from quan ho (love duet) melodies, brocade patterns, gongs and stall dances, to traditional musical instruments such as dan bau (Vietnamese traditional monochord), t’rung (bamboo xylophone), flute, ty ba (plucked string instrument), dan tranh (Vietnamese 16-string zither) and drums. They introduced visitors to the unique cultural and artistic identities of Vietnam.

According to Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong, this was an overseas art programme featuring the highest number of Vietnamese actors, actresses and artists.

Over 150 artists, artisans, actors and actresses from the Vietnam National Music Song and Dance Theatre, Vietnam Circus Federation, the Central Highland Gongs Artisans Troupe (from Dak Nong) and Bac Ninh Quan Ho Troupe, highlights the quintessence of Vietnamese culture and arts to international friends.
