In 2023, the Bac Giang was allocated total public investment capital of 10 trillion VND (424.3 million USD) for basic construction, down one trillion VND against last year amount.

Many projects were delayed and the price of construction material price sharply fluctuated, causing big challenge to the basic construction.

The PPC Vice Chairman Le O Pich pressed on numerous difficulties to realize 2022 socio-economic development targets in Bac Giang in particular and in the whole country in general.

However, concentrated application of measures helped the province achieve good progress and quality of basic construction investment project together with great disbursement. The operated projects, especially social and traffic infrastructures have accelerated the growth of many services and careers.

Via the meeting, the provincial leader received several proposals and ordered the officials in charge to sum up all comments and ideas then classify them into group which will be handled clearly by each sector and unit.

The PPC Vice Chairman urged the sectors and localities to review the capital source, select key investment project, prevent debts in basic construction. Also, he stated specific solutions for several issues such as difficulty in announcing the price of construction material, obstacle in execution of planning project, land use plan, land clearance among others.

All sectors were requested to list all key projects in the province, districts and city in 2023 together with the obstacles in plane and detail summary then assign specific task and responsibility in each stage for each person to conduct the site work.
