BAC GIANG- The art troupe of Bac Giang province bagged 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals and 2 certificates of merit at the 2025 national amateur art festival themed “Sen Village Singing”.

The mashup (The Party flag- Love the country more on each footstep- the Youth dedicated to the Party) performed by Bac Giang troupe wins gold medal.

The festival was organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the People’s Committee of Nghe An province from May 16 to 19 at the Nghe An Traditional Arts Center on the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

Thousands of amateur artists and performers from 31 public art troupes of different provinces and cities nationwide took part in the festival, performing over 300 elaborately choreographed performances that expressed patriotism, national pride, and deep affection for beloved Uncle Ho.

The Organising Board awarded 36 gold and 60 silver medals to outstanding performances.

The Bac Giang art troupe was led by the provincial Culture and Tourism Promotion Centre. The mashup “La co Dang - Moi buoc di them yeu To quoc - Tuoi xuan dang Dang” (The Party flag- Love the country more on each footstep- the Youth dedicated to the Party) won gold medal while the male choir group with the song “Nguyen theo chan Bac” (Following Uncle Ho’s footsteps) and the solo performance with the song “Con nho on Nguoi” (With deep gratitude to Uncle Ho) were awarded silver medals.

The Bac Giang troupe was presented certificate of merit by the People’s Committee of Nghe An province while Deputy Director of the provincial Culture and Tourism Promotion Centre Giap Van Cuong was awarded by the Department of grassroots Culture, Family and Library for the excellent achievements at the festival.

The festival takes place every 5 years, which is an opportunity for cultural and artistic professionals from provinces and cities across the country to exchange experiences, learn from each other and improve their skills in stage directing and performance.
