BAC GIANG – The Farmers' Alliance in Bac Giang province is working to implement phase two of the project “Boosting the participation of agricultural cooperatives in value chains,” which will run from May to November 2025 in Bac Giang.

The project aims to improve the capacity of cooperatives through value chain development and digital transformation. The total budget exceeds 1.2 billion VND ( over 52,000 USD), including more than 1.16 billion VND in support funding and 70 million VND in counterpart fund.

Participating cooperatives include Dong Tam 3 Agriculture (Thuong Thang commune), Thai Son Bac Giang Agriculture (Hung Thai commune, Hiep Hoa district), Tan Moc Agricultural Product Distribution Services (Tan Moc commune, Luc Ngan district), Thanh Hai Agricultural Production and Tourism Trading (Thanh Hai ward, Chu town), and Son Dong Organic Honey (Tuan Dao commune, Son Dong district).

Following official guidelines, the provincial Farmers' Alliance is helping cooperatives adopt digital solutions in stages from production to business.

The Alliance is also conducting research and surveys on value chain models and digital transformation in agriculture, identifying obstacles to recommend appropriate policies.

The project is being widely promoted to replicate successful models, contributing to sustainable agricultural development, increasing cooperative incomes and reducing poverty in rural areas.
