100 exemplary cooperatives receive ‘Coop Star Awards 2025’
100 exemplary cooperatives were honoured with the ‘Coop Star Awards 2025’ at a ceremony held by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance in Hanoi on April 11.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung, who is also head of the National Steering Committee for the Collective Economy, lauded the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance for successfully organising a series of activities in the action month for cooperatives marking Vietnam Cooperatives Day (April 11) and International Year of Cooperatives 2025.

To further develop and improve the effectiveness of the collective economy, he asked ministries, sectors, local authorities, and functional organisations to continue perfecting policies and mechanisms and closely follow the Party's directives.
Authorities should promptly support cooperatives in overcoming difficulties in business operations and focus on training and developing human resources for the sector to meet future development needs, he said.
The Vietnam Cooperative Alliance system should renovate its operation and assert its nationwide representative role in supporting cooperatives and cooperative unions, he added.
He reaffirmed that the government will continue to accompany and support collective economic organisations and cooperatives in overcoming difficulties and creating momentum to rise alongside other economic sectors.
He also expressed his hope that the cooperative community will make further contributions to the nation’s construction and development.

The Vietnam Cooperative Alliance held a ceremony on the evening of December 11 to present the first Mai An Tiem Awards (Coop Gold Product Awards 2024) for exemplary cooperative products at the Army Theatre in Hanoi and launched the Action Month for Cooperatives and the International Year of Cooperatives 2025.

The 2 representatives from Bac Giang province including Nguyen Ngoc Hai (Hiep Hoa district) and Huong Son safe pineapple cooperative (Lang Giang district) were honoured at this event.
