HCMC to set off fireworks at 30 locations on April 30, Reunification Day
HCMC will set off fireworks at 30 locations or more places than ever, on the evening of April 30 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of national reunification.
The fireworks will start at 9 p.m. and last 15 minutes, Colonel Tran Van Trung, political commissar of the HCMC Military Command, told the media Thursday.

They will be set off at high altitude at two places, the Saigon River Tunnel in Thu Duc City and Ben Duoc Temple in Cu Chi District.
The remaining 28 locations are spread all over the city, with the fireworks set off even from barges in the Saigon River and other water bodies.
The 28 low-altitude firework locations include Independence Palace and Ba Son Bridge in District 1, Thanh Da Peninsula and Landmark 81 Park in Binh Thanh District, Thao Dien area in Thu Duc City, and Tan Thuan Bridge in District 4.
Before the 30th there will high-altitude fireworks displays on the nights of April 19 and 26 at the Saigon Riverfront Park in Thu Duc City starting at 9:30 p.m.
BAC GIANG – The low altitude fireworks will illuminate the skies over 9 venues across 8 districts, city and township of the northern province of Bac Giang at 0 am on January 29, 2025 (Lunar New Year’s Eve).
Fireworks will illuminate the skies over 15 venues across Ho Chi Minh City on January 1, 2025 (Lunar New Year’s Eve), as decided by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.

The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025, themed "Da Nang — A New Era", will take place from May 31 to July 12, 2025.
