Bac Giang to launch firework displays in 9 locations on Lunar New Year's Eve
BAC GIANG – The low altitude fireworks will illuminate the skies over 9 venues across 8 districts, city and township of the northern province of Bac Giang at 0 am on January 29, 2025 (Lunar New Year’s Eve).
The fireworks will be launched at February 3 Square and Nham Bien Ward Stadium (Bac Giang City); Phuc Son Pagoda area in Cao Xa Commune and Luong Van Nam Square in Cao Thuong Town (Tan Yen); Than Nhan Trung Square in Bich Dong Ward (Viet Yen Township); Thanh Nien Lake bank in Doi Ngo Town (Luc Nam); Chu Ward Central Square (Chu Township); Phi Dien Town People's Committee (Luc Ngan); Monument area in Thang Town (Hiep Hoa).

Locations in Bac Giang city and Phuc Son pagoda area in Cao Xa commune (Tan Yen) will fire 120 rigs; the locations in Viet Yen township, Luc Nam district, Hiep Hoa and Luong Van Nam square in Cao Thuong town (Tan Yen) will fire 90 rigs while the remaining two locations will fire 60 rigs.
The firework display time will last from 9 to 15 minutes depending on the number of fireworks in each venue.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Military Command and the Military Commands of districts, township and city to coordinate with functional forces to organize fireworks display, ensuring safety, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere for people on the occasion of the traditional New Year of the nation.
Fireworks will illuminate the skies over 15 venues across Ho Chi Minh City on January 1, 2025 (Lunar New Year’s Eve), as decided by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.

The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025, themed "Da Nang — A New Era", will take place from May 31 to July 12, 2025.
Hanoi will host firework displays at five locations to celebrate the transition from 2024 to 2025 (New Year’s Eve), and the city plans to organise firework shows at 30 locations for the Lunar New Year 2025.
