More than 8,000 laborers in industrial parks work through Tet
BAC GIANG - More than 8,000 laborers from 16 enterprises in 6 industrial parks including Quang Chau, Vietnam Korea, Van Trung, Dinh Tram (Viet Yen township), Song Khe - Noi Hoang (Bac Giang city), Hoa Phu (Hiep Hoa) have registered to work during the Lunar New Year 2025 (Tet), reported the Bac Giang Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board.
Most of them registered to work from lunar December 28 to the 3rd day of Tet while some companies mobilize workers to work until the 5th day of Tet.

Some companies with a large number of workers registering to work through the biggest festival included Fuyu Precision Technology Co., Ltd in Quang Chau Industrial Park (4,500 people); Hana Micron Vina Co., Ltd in Van Trung Industrial Park (750 people); Hosiden Vietnam Co., Ltd in Quang Chau Industrial Park (500 people); JA Solar NE Vietnam Co., Ltd in Vietnam Korea Industrial Park (475 people).
The enterprises organize work during Tet because they have to maintain regular machinery operations and there are orders arising at the end of the year that must be completed urgently to meet delivery schedules for partners.
During this time, the employees are paid for overtime (at least 300%) and insurance policies according to state regulations.
In addition, some companies also provide additional cash support, improve shift meals or give diligence bonuses to encourage employees.
The highest Tet bonus in Vietnam this year has been recorded at VND1.908 billion ($75,162), while the nationwide average stands at VND7.7 million, according to the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.
BAC GIANG - In order to recognize the contributions and dedication of employees, the Board of Directors of Newwing Interconnect Technology Co., Ltd in Van Trung Industrial Park of Bac Giang province will spend a total profit of more than 145.1 billion VND (6 million USD) to give Tet bonus for workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.
The highest Tet bonus in Hanoi this year stands at VND311 million ($12,203), awarded by a foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprise, according to the Hanoi Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.
The highest bonus to be paid by any HCMC employer for the upcoming Lunar New Year is VND1.9 billion (US$74,600).
BAC GIANG - The highest bonus for the Lunar New Year 2025 is 185 million VND (7,780 USD) given to employee at a foreign-invested enterprise in industrial parks in Bac Giang province, reported the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA). This is the bonus level for Vietnamese labour with outstanding achievements.
