With high competition determination, 3 members in Bac Giang province attended the championship for the first time and excellently won 5 medals (1 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze). The gold winner was Ha Thi Anh Uyen at women’s 55kg Fighting category.

This year event drew more than 280 athletes of 25 teams from provincies, cities and sectors across the nation to compete at various contents of Newaza Gi (14 weight groups), Newaza NoGi (14 weight groups), Fighting (7 weight groups) và Duo Show (men’ doubles, women’s doubles, mixed doubles).

The National Jujitsu Championship is jointly held by the General Sports Administration and Jujitsu Federation to assess the training task and development of Jujitsu practising movement in the country. Meanwhile it provides the athletes a chance of competition to reinforce the capability, hence helping the organization board select high qualification names for the national team to vie at international events.
