Capital Region Ring Road 5 - section from the Yen Son - Bac Lung Industrial Park to road 293B (green) will be built.

The investment is to strengthen connectivity and create favorable conditions for investment in building infrastructure of industrial zones, thus attracting investors to the Yen Son, Yen Son - Bac Lung IPs of Luc Nam district as well as industrial zones and clusters, and urban-service centers in Yen Dung and Lang Giang districts. It will help to gradually complete Ring Road 5 in the Capital Region, contributing to perfecting the transport infrastructure in line with the transport development orientation of the province in the 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2050.

According to the decision to adjust the investment policy by the provincial People's Council, the project is invested by the provincial Transport and Agricultural Projects Management Board. The road has a total length of about 9.6 km, with the starting point at Km 0+00 at the Yen Son - Bac Lung Industrial Park in Yen Son commune (Luc Nam district) and the ending point at Km9+600 (intersection with National Highway No. 31, about km8+250) in Dai Lam commune (Lang Giang district).

Of which, the section from the Yen Son - Bac Lung Industrial Park to the planned provincial road 293B, with a length of about 7.1 km, is built up to the standard of grade-II plain road.

It has a total investment of 752 billion VND (32.87 billion USD) sourced from the provincial budget. At present, the provincial Transport and Agricultural Projects Management Board is preparing a feasibility study report, striving to start construction in the third quarter of this year.
