Bac Giang chess players win two bronzes at Singapore Open Chess Tournament

(BGO) - 8 chess players in the northern province of Bac Giang has participated in the Singapore Open Chess Tournament 2018 together with many strong competitors who are recognized as the international chess master, grandmaster from regional countries such as Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam and Indonesia among others.

Members in Bac Giang team won two bronze medals in the women's singles under rapid chess category, namely Vo Thi Kim Phung and Doan Thi Van Anh.

Apart from grasping more achievement, increasing players’ ELO rating, the tournament was a chance for Bac Giang team to compete and prepare for the major events at the upcoming National Sports Festival.
