Established in 2013, the provincial Tourism Association (PTA) now has 80 members, 5 clubs and divisions. For years, it has actively cooperated with the enterprises to promote the tourism potentials and advantages in Bac Giang province at the domestic and international travel fair, conference and event.

Also, the PTA is always active to supply information and support the enterprises to cooperate and link the investment, develop the tourism products as well as facilitate the businesses to create and connect the travel tours and routes.

Its operation contributes to boosting up the growth of Bac Giang tourism sector with many big projects under investment and increasing number of visitors to the province from hundreds of thousands tourists (2013) up to 1.5 million arrivals (2018).

In the tenure 2019 – 2024, the PTA strives to reinforce and organize the association; enhance the linkage and cooperative with the domestic tourism associations; actively promote the tourism and attract the investment to build the signature tourism products.

Additionally, it gradually improves the quality of tourism labor and service while making up the trademark and competitiveness to the enterprises.

Addressing at the Congress, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Linh and Permanent Deputy Chairman of Vietnam Tourism Association Vu The Binh highly spoke of the great effort made by the PTA in boosting up the tourism growth in the province.

They urged the PTA to continue linking the travel agencies to exploit the local tourism advantages; consolidating the organization structure in a quick manner, renovating the operating method, increasing the professional work to the officers and tour guides.

Permanent Deputy Chairman of Vietnam Tourism Association Vu The Binh presents the certificate of merit bestowed by Vietnam Tourism Association to Bac Giang Tourism Association.

Besides, the association should focus on creating the signature tours taking full advantages of local potential and timely grasping the Party’s instruction and State’s policy and law on tourism development.

The leaders encouraged the association to well fulfil the role of a bridge between the enterprises and authority so as to consult and propose the mechanism to create favour condition to the travel businesses.

The PTA need to take the initiative in cooperation then suggest the relevant agencies to participate in tourism communication and promotion; research to create the signature tourism products to meet the visitors’ demand while consulting the provincial People’s Committee to invest in building model of rural agricultural tourism.
