Bac Giang: Export – import turnover exceeds target of 5 billion USD

(BGO) – According to
the statistic from the competent agencies, the total export – import turnover
in the northern province of Bac Giang hit nearly 17 billion USD, exceeding
nearly 5 billion USD comparing to the target set at the provincial Party Congress,
in which export turnover was estimated at 8.6 billion USD (up over 10 percent)
and import turnover reached 8.3 billion USD (up nearly 24 percent against last
year figure).
The result was achieved thanks to the Customs Office controlling the provincial industrial parks (Customs Office) created favourable condition to the enterprises who carry out the commodity export and import procedures.

This year, 902 enterprises in the province proceeded the export and import procedures at the Customs Office, increasing about 28 percent comparing to the same period last year.
The businesses are striving to produce, do business and expand the product consumption markets. The export commodities are mostly garment and farm produce while the imported goods include garment accessories, electronic component, solar cells and equipment.
The livestock and related sectors’ exports were worth 855.4 million USD in the first nine months of the year and is expected to reach 1.2 billion USD for the year, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Vietnam’s export turnover in the last 10 months yearly increased 7.4 percent year-on-year to over 217 billion USD, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT).
(BGO) – The Department of Industry and Trade has
reported that the export turnover in the northern province of Bac Giang hit
some 877 million USD in October, making up total of nearly 7 billion USD in 10
month period, up 33 percent comparing to the same period last year.
Vietnam has been recording strong development in e-commerce, through which businesses will have more chances to promote export, an official said at a workshop in Hanoi on October 18.

Service and Trade Investment Joint Stock Company has proceeded the formalities
to hire 50 hectares of agriculture land in the villages of Binh Voi, Tay and
Duoi in Canh Thuy commune, Yen Dung district (Bac Giang province) to grow the
banana for export.
