Bac Giang firmly protects “green area” and speeds up third vaccine shot coverage
Since January 1, 2022, Bac Giang has detected more than 4,800 infected and three fatal cases with underlying diseases and old age, nearly 59 percent of whom were local infections (76.1 percent were inoculated, 23.9 percent were not vaccinated).

Concluding the event, PPC Chairman Duong pressed on the first target to protect the “green area” in three levels, ensure safety for people on Tet holiday, well prepare condition to switch to flexible status and live safely together with Covid-19 pandemic to minimize its impact on socio-economic development.
To realize these goals, the provincial leader ordered sectors and localities to urgently speed up third Covid-19 vaccine shot coverage during Tet holiday; well prepare disease preventive programme on this occasion; call on officials, public servant and people to welcome Tet at home and avoid mass gathering; make specific instruction about disease preventive measures then deliver to each family.
Any one returning to hometown for Tet occasion must make health declaration.
The province must continue enhancing the capability to treat Covid-19 patient (F0) at home as well as the operation of mobile medical station, grass roots health workers so as to ready to work 24 hour per day in both online and offline format to timely answer all questions from people.
PPC Chairman requested the Medical Sector to urgently reinforce the operation of the provincial Disease Control Center; put the Industrial Park Medical Center in operation to ensure effective implementation of tasks and requirements to combat the disease.
From now on, Bac Giang province will adjust the strategy to test, trace and quarantine. Rapid antigen test is done to cases with symptom and exempted for commuters, adults with three vaccine shots, students with two vaccine shots.

Tracing method is imposed to people with close contact to F0 while only returners from level 4 pandemic areas will be quarantined.
To stabilize the socio-economic activities, all sectors and localities were urged to well prevent and control the pandemic in the industrial parks, schools, state organization, frontline forces and youth; prepare necessary condition to allow all service suppliers to resume normal operation after the fifteenth day of lunar January.
Particularly, the province allowed shops in Son Dong district to resume operation from February 1. The religious and worshipping facilities are allowed to open during Tet occasion without big gathering to ensure disease preventive requirement.
Tourism suppliers can operate under strict disease prevention and control. After Lunar New Year, the province plans to allow indoor sport activities under safe condition.
