Bac Giang holds dialogue with businesses on labor law, administrative procedures in natural resources and environment
BAC GIANG - On September 30, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA) coordinated with the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board to organize a conference to answer difficulties and problems for enterprises in implementing labor laws in Bac Giang City.
At the conference, more than 200 delegates, including leaders, human resources officers, people in charge of social insurance and grassroots trade union officials of nearly 100 enterprises in the province, were informed about many important contents of the Labor Code, Social Insurance Law, Trade Union Law and Labor Safety and Hygiene Law.

At the same time, representatives of the agencies also directly exchanged, listened to and answered many concerns and problems related to the regulations on increasing the regional minimum wage in 2024; subjects and contribution levels corresponding to types of labor contracts; policies related to sick leave, maternity leave, working time and others.
Acknowledging and resolving these difficulties and problems of businesses, the grassroots unions, leaders and professional staff of the organization units frankly discussed each group of issues in detail, hence giving specific solutions and instructions, timely handling and creating favorable conditions for businesses to operate effectively.
At the same day, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DONRE) held a dialogue with enterprises on administrative procedures in the field of natural resources and environment with the participation from more than 50 enterprises in the province.

The content that most enterprises concerned was the procedures for converting agricultural land use purposes to implement projects; delayed project implementation progress due to planning problems. They also requested for guidance on processes and procedures related to compensation and site clearance for mineral exploitation projects among others.
Responding to the businesses’ opinions and proposals, representatives of relevant units directly answered and cleared some issues as well as fully summarized the contents that were beyond their authority to propose the Provincial People's Committee to have solutions and facilitate enterprises to implement projects on schedule and effectively.
