The festival attracted six teams from workers' hostel clubs in Song Khe 2 and Yen Khe villages, Song Khe commune, Bac Giang city; Noi Hoang and Tien Phong communes in Yen Dung district; Quang Chau and Hong Thai wards in Viet Yen township. The teams went through three competitions: greeting, throwing the ball into the basket, and talent.

In the talent competition, each team performed a song and a mass dance, ballroom dance or modern dance. Interspersed between competitions was an exchange programme where participants answered questions on the Trade Union Law, the Labour Code, and the Social Insurance Law for prizes.

At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee awarded one first, two second and three third prizes to the winners. There were also two additional prizes for the team with an impressive greeting and the team with an excellent talent competition.
