Bac Giang player Pham Tien San bags first gold medal in Duathlon

(BGO) – The Bac Giang born player Pham Tien San finished first in Duathlon (running and
cycling) at the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31) with a
time of 1:55:58 and won
gold medal on May 15 morning.
San’s victory brought the 39th gold medals for the host at the Games but it was the historical medal for Duathlon athletes in Vietnam.

The Bac Giang player had won three silver medals at SEA Games held in 2013, 2015 and 2017 at 3000m steeplechase. He has changed to practice Duathlon for two years.

Duathlon consists of 10km running leg, 40km cycling leg and another 5km running leg. The game started at 6am of May 15 at Tuan Chau beach in the northern province of Quang Ninh.

Vietnam National Badminton Team train hard toward SEA Games 31
(BGO) - The
badminton event at the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31) is
set to take place at Bac Giang provincial Gymnasium from May 16 - 22, 2022 with
135 athletes, 46 officials, coaches and assistants from eight participating
countries of Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand,
Singapore, and Vietnam. Recently, members of Vietnam National Badminton Team has trained hard to gain highest achievement at the event.
Due attention paid to promoting tourism development and SEA Games 31
(BGO) - The Department of Culture,
Sports and Tourism (DCST) has issued document to request departments,
localities, business, accommodation facilities, tourism site and complexes in
Bac Giang province to enhance communication and promotion of tourism
development and the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31).

77 volunteers selected to serve badminton competition at the upcoming 31st
Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31) to be held in Bac Giang city (Bac Giang province)
from May 16 – 22, many people were assigned by the Organizer to take the most
important position of the event.
