Bac Giang promotes creative emulation movements for serving administration
Recently, the Standing Committee of the provincial Party Committee issued Directive No. 26-CT/TU, drastically directing the correction of working styles and enhancing responsibility in performing tasks among cadres, Party members, civil servants, public employees, and soldiers of the armed forces in the province.

The directive requires Party committees, Party organizations, agencies, units, officials, and Party members throughout the province to thoroughly grasp and well implement the "three dares" (dare to speak, dare to do, dare to take responsibility for the benefit common good); the “three mores” (more drastic, more flexible, more effective); and "five clears" (clear people, clear tasks, clear progress, clear responsibilities and clear results). Each official and Party member must enhance their sense of responsibility and creativity in their work to improve service efficiency and quality.
Agencies, units and localities have grasped the spirit of the directive, especially in administrative reform. Many districts and Bac Giang city have been implementing initiatives to save time and costs for individuals, organizations and State agencies when handling administrative procedures like the "three no's, one yes" model every Tuesday at the one-stop shop in Bich Dong township, Viet Yen district; the “Sunday for the people” and the "Two-zero Friday" at the Lang Giang district People's Committee; the "Fast Friday" and the "Three-zero Thursday" at the one-stop shops of wards and communes of Bac Giang city; “five don’t waits” in Bo Ha township, Yen The district.
Lang Giang district has many workers working at businesses who have only Sunday off. Meanwhile, the one-stop shops do not work on this day, so many of them have to take leave or authorize relatives to handle administrative procedures.

To solve this situation, the one-stop shop of the Lang Giang district People's Committee arranges officers on duty every Sunday morning (from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.). Thanks to that, the number of citizens coming for administrative procedures under the "Sunday for the people" programme increased from 20% to 30% compared to normal days.
In 2022, Bac Giang set many impressive records at the same time on the country's rankings such as ranking second in the Competitiveness Index; fourth in the Public Administration Reform (PAR) Index; ninth in the Digital Transformation Index; fifth in the Vietnam IT Readiness Index.
