He emphasized that in 2021, the PPC and FPT signed a cooperation agreement on digital transformation.

Accordingly, FPT has recently supported and closely coordinated with the province to promote digital transformation in many fields; thereby helping improve the ranking of many indicators and accelerate provincial economic growth.

For recent years, Bac Giang province has secured position among the leading localities in the country in economic growth.

Oanh said Bac Giang province still has more room for development. The province has paid due attention to the quality of human resources and digital transformation, focusing on streamlining the apparatus, which requires the application of information technology in the management of many fields, especially the industrial sector. There are currently many factories in industrial parks in the province.

To continue attracting investors, the province has directed relevant units to accelerate the development of transport infrastructure; logistics infrastructure and warehouses together with clearing land for newly established industrial parks in the province.

Representatives of FPT introduced about the establishment, operation and development of the company. With its strengths in technology and specialized resources, FPT promised to make an important contribution to the socio-economic development of Bac Giang in the coming period.

Speaking at the event, Truong Gia Binh stated that in order to effectively streamline and merge the administrative apparatus, Bac Giang province needs to standardize administrative procedures, data and information technology systems.

After the merger, the province is required to accelerate economic growth, so the application of information technology is necessary. FPT is always ready to support the province in applying technology to perform administrative management tasks, promoting socio-economic development.

After discussion, the PPC and FPT agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance cooperation in development and investment research based on relevant provisions of Vietnamese law such as promoting the development of the semiconductor industry; improving the quality of human resources; developing science, technology, education and training, innovation and digital transformation; improving the quality of services and living conditions for people, investors and businesses.
