In front of the statue of President Ho Chi Minh, Colonel Tran The Cuong, Deputy Director of provincial Department of Public Security, presented a report on the first phase of a campaign celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Public Security Force (August 19, 1945 – 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the “All people protect national security” festival (August 19, 2005 – 2025), and a crackdown on crime during the Lunar New Year 2025.

In 2024, the Bac Giang Department of Public Security was awarded the “Flag for Leading the Movement for National Security” by the Ministry of Public Security, and the “Flag for Leading the Patriotic Emulation Movement” by the provincial People's Committee.

Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, police officers in the province pledged to remain committed to their duties, loyal to the Party, and devoted to the people, regardless of the challenges they may face.

In his remarks, Colonel Nguyen Quang Vinh emphasised that over the years, the “For National Security” emulation movement has been effectively implemented by the local police, aligning with the province's political tasks and strategic goals.

As Vietnam is entering a new era – the era of the nation’s rise, he urged the awardees to continue striving and contributing to the defence and construction of the nation in the new era.

He called on leaders of police units and localities to focus on political and ideological education, create favorable conditions for officers to participate in emulation movements, and promote campaigns that align with political tasks and the principle of “being close to the people, understanding the people” and “being present whenever the people need.”

On this occasion, the provincial Department of Public Security honoured 10 exemplary young police officers and 10 outstanding communal police officers.

It also commended 46 units and 55 individuals for their contributions to the special emulation movement and in the crackdown on crime during the Lunar New Year 2025.
