Bac Giang strives to upgrade 5 to 10 OCOP products
The plan aims to improve propaganda and provide support to economic organizations for active involvement in the OCOP programme while carrying out comprehensive solutions and mobilizing resources for implementation of the programme. Besides, the province will focus on improving quality and completing value-added products to satisfy demand of the domestic market and develop a number of key products for export.

It is planned to establish a network of enterprises and economic entities as a driving force for development of agricultural and rural economy attached to robust development of tourism and service based on promoting the advantages in value chain to enhance people’s quality of life.
The evaluated and rated products should be supported to be upgraded and developed. The province strives to upgrade 5 to 10 OCOP products in 2022.
Besides, it is planned to check up and select new products based on the local advantages with a priority for processed, traditional, handicraft and rural tourism products. The province targets at 25 to 30 products qualified as OCOP products with three star rating and above (each district and city has at least 2 or 3 products). Besides, the province strives to develop at least one national OCOP product with five star rating (Luc Ngan lychee, Yen The hill chicken and Chu rice noodle are in the priority list).
The province plans to review and select to build a piloting OCOP product in tourism service striving to have at least one rural tourism service product to lure tourists while promoting tourism activities of the province.
It is also necessary to foster application of information technology and digital transformation in OCOP programme, set up an OCOP database system, digitalize procedures for receiving dossier, evaluating and classifying OCOP products, support for trade promotion and post-test evaluation of the rated OCOP products.
