The preparation has been highly concentrated recently. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism - the standing body of local Organization Board has actively implemented documents issued by sub-committee of SEA Games 31 Organization Board in Vietnam to relevant organizations and agencies for collaboration.

The decoration, communication, reception are thoroughly prepared. Bac Giang city refreshed more than 1,000 propaganda panels, replaced ornamental trees on several routes.

The Department of Health directed competent agencies to arrange sufficient medicine, equipment and medical supplies; establish special teams in charge of first aid, Covid-19 prevention and control, food hygiene and safety among others.

The provincial Gymnasium completed to install lighting and competition carpet in line with international standard together with programme to arrange warm-up room for athletes and functional rooms.

The provincial Public Security arranged officials and soldiers to ensure the public order, fire and explosion prevention and fighting as well as traffic safety.

The communication and information task got due attention. The Department of Information and Communication made detail survey and programme to upgrade Internet system in and outside the provincial Gymnasium.

Concluding the meeting, PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong praised organizations and localities for high responsibility and thorough implementation of assigned tasks.

In the upcoming time, they were urged to review the tasks, complete and ensure condition to successfully host badminton event so that SEA Games 31 becomes a sport festival in the province, helping promote the image of land and people in Bac Giang; attract visitors; enhance capability of departments and sectors to host big event; stimulate sport practising movement in general and badminton in particular.

All localities and agencies should accelerate communication among the officials, party members and people. Due attention must be paid to preparing facilities and accommodation for athlete delegations, members of organization boards and representatives; ensuring working condition for reporters; cleaning up the environment and decorating the urban area, especially the Southern one.

The provincial Public Security was urge to ready programme to ensure public order and security, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting.

All preparations for SEA Games 31 must be completed before May 1, 2022.

The organizations should promote and introduce local tourism sites and destinations, special products; exploit services via SEA Games 31 so as to facilitate service suppliers.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism was urged to invite badminton clubs, teachers and students … to come and cheer the matches, which help inspire the passion for badminton and boost up the movement. Meanwhile, the Department should prepare bonus and reward plan for Bac Giang medalists.
