At the meeting, leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism briefed on the progress to prepare for the festival. Accordingly, the related agencies, units and localities have issued many documents on implementing the assigned tasks under the plan of the provincial People’s Committee.

Concluding the meeting, the PPC Vice Chairman Mai Son highly appreciated the agencies, units and localities for their active implementation of the assignments. He stressed the festival commemorating the 140th anniversary of the Yen The Uprising is a big and significant event; thus the related agencies, localities and units need to work together and complete the assigned tasks on schedule for a solemn and meaningful festival.

Besides, he directed the locality and related agencies to well implement reception and relating issues, ensure security and order, assign detailed tasks for specific persons and install a public toilet in the area where the festival will take place. It is also necessary to manage and allocate suitable area for retail and business activities.

Regarding the uncompleted items in Hoang Hoa Tham historic site, the PPC Vice Chairman requested Yen The district and related agencies to clean up and ensure hygiene. In addition, the locality must have plan to ensure electricity supply and stable internet connection. 

He also directed the related agencies to hold a rehearsal for the art programme at the festival. Press agencies were urged to promote propaganda and communication about the festival for spreading effect.
