The worship of the God of Agriculture and other gods, which shows respect and upholds the tradition of “when drinking water, remember its source”.

The festival takes place from February 24 to 26 (the 15th, 16th and 17th days of the first lunar month). The highlight of the opening ceremony was the worship of the God of Agriculture and other gods, which shows respect and upholds the tradition of “when drinking water, remember its source”.

The festival expresses the wishes of Vietnamese people in general and farmers in particular for a year of good weather, bumper harvests, and no natural disasters or epidemics.

At the ceremony, delegates offered incense and performed the rites for a new crop: sowing symbolic seeds and distributing seeds to leaders of communes and towns in the district.

The temple is located in My Son village, Cam Ly commune. This is also one of the important historical relic sites in the sacred land of Tay Yen Tu (the western side of Yen Tu Mountain).

During the festival, people can enjoy Van and Then signing performances; attend banh chung (square glutinous rice cake) and banh day (round glutinous rice cake) wrapping competitions; and visit booths displaying typical local agricultural products.
