Bringing Vietnamese culture closer to international friends

In a letter of commendation to the art troupe accompanying President Vo Van Thuong and his spouse on official visits to Austria and Italy, the State leader expressed his hope that the artists will always uphold good traditions and constantly make creations and develop towards new artistic heights, contributing to spreading Vietnamese culture to international friends.

On August 4, President Vo Van Thang sent a letter of commendation to the art troupe accompanying him and his spouse on official visits to Austria and Italy.

The successes of official visits to Austria and Italy (July 23-29) made by President Vo Van Thuong and his spouse are expected to create a new impetus for Vietnam’s friendship with Austria and strategic partnership with Italy.

Specifically, within the framework of the visits, the art troupe, led by Meritorious Artist Bui Cong Duy, Honorary Professor of the Kazakh National University of Arts (KazUniArt) and Deputy Director of Vietnam National Academy of Music, made an elaborate preparation for outstanding performances in Austria and Italy. The performances have left a deep impression on the politicians and overseas Vietnamese in the two countries, contributing to highlighting cultural exchange during the visits.

President Vo Van Thuong highly valued the art troupe, including artists from the Vietnam National Academy of Music, the Hanoi Chamber Orchestra, the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera, and Thanh Long Music and Dance Theatre.

The President appreciated the dedication, seriousness and creativity of the artists who have skilfully connected Vietnamese academic and traditional music in the performances for international friends and the overseas Vietnamese community.
