In a frank and open atmosphere, entrepreneurs shared difficulties and problems they are facing in the investment and business process and proposed solutions to contribute to promoting the local socio-economic development.

Speaking at the programme, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Anh Duong acquired the proposals made by businesses, and spoke highly of their advice to the provincial People's Committee in directing and administering socio-economic development. He emphasized that Bac Giang is entering a new stage of development with many advantages and opportunities, in which enterprises play a very important role in promoting socio-economic development, especially in attracting investment and creating jobs for labourers. By 2025, Bac Giang strives to be among the top 15 provinces in the country in terms of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). To realize this goal, the provincial People's Committee will launch right and suitable mechanisms and policies.

In the 2021 – 2025 period, the committee will focus resources on investment in transport infrastructure (roads, bridges), especially major and arterial roads, with priority given to those leading to such provinces and cities as Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Hai Duong and Hai Phong. It will build more bridges across rivers; investing in industrial zones’ infrastructure; promote synchronous industrial, urban and service development; and solve the problem of human resources, especially high-quality labor in enterprises. Regarding the proposals of businesses, the provincial leader answered, clarified and assigned relevant departments to study and propose solutions to the provincial People's Committee, thereby creating conditions for enterprises to operate in line with the law. Duong also accepted the proposal of reducing annual business inspection and examination plans. Accordingly, the enterprises will be divided into three groups: the group that does not need inspections, the group under irregular inspections and the group with many violations that must be inspected. In the coming time, the Chairman of the provincial People's Committee will set aside a fixed day to receive businesses and set up a hotline to solve arising problems.
