VCCI director, Hai Phong branch presents a souvenir to Bac Giang PBA.

The event drew the attendance of the leader of the provincial Department of Planning and Investment, director of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Hai Phong branch and about 80 enterprises of the 2 localities.

At the meeting, the participants were informed about local opportunities and potentials for investment. Particularly, Bac Giang has numerous favorable conditions for the development of agriculture, industry and services, especially ecological and spiritual tourism. The province will continue attracting investment in industrial processing, high-tech and environment- friendly projects, fruit preservation for export, science and advanced technology transfer in livestock, planting and aquaculture. 

Besides, Hai Phong city is the home to industrial parks, trade center, big-scale enterprises and a seaport from which a large number of commodities of Bac Giang are exported.

At the discussion session, some enterprises introduced their fields of business for cooperation including long-term food preservation packaging, infrastructure, seaport services, export and import, paper production and consumption.

Additionally, the participants shared their experiences in salary issue and other policies on laborers, HR attraction and cost saving to improve business efficiency. Via this programme, enterprises of the two localities will start to connect and sign agreements for mutual development.
