Chinese actress dons Vietnamese designer's gown to Vogue party
For her appearance at a party held on November 23 by the Chinese edition of fashion magazine Vogue, the actress chose a see-through cut-out dress with sequins attached, from Thu’s collection named "Fairy’s Dream."

According to Thu, the dress took her team 300 hours to complete, with thousands of beads and pearls hand-attached on. Its final selling price was VND360 million (US$14,800), and the designer team made a few adaptations based on the Gulinazha’s requirements.
Pictures of the actress at the party have garnered over 170 million views and thousands of comments on Weibo, with many saying the dress made her more charming and elegant.

"It has been a long time since I have been impressed with an actress’ red carpet style," one wrote.
"A cut-out dress that is not too revealing yet accentuating her figure," said another.
Many other Chinese actresses, including Fan Bingbing, Li Qin, and Dilraba Dilmurat, have also donned Thu’s creations to public events and photoshoots.
Gulinazha, 31, is an actress and model. Her acting debut in 2012 immediately earned her public recognition, and she became one of the top actresses in China.
Thu, 35, started her career in the fashion industry as a model. She established her own brand in 2008, which has developed into a fashion house favored by many international and domestic stars.
