At the event, a representative of the Da Nang General Hospital reported on the situation regarding the treatment of Covid-19 patients in the city, stating that the hospital has implemented classification and ensured quarantine and treatment conditions for the infection cases.

Empathising with the difficulties faced by medical workers, Deputy PM Dam, Head of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, emphasised the need for the hospitals to tighten compliance with regulations on disease prevention and control, urging them to stand ready to provide aid for other hospitals when necessary.

He asked the Ministry of Health to mobilise forces and testing technologies to detect the infection source of the most recent outbreak as soon as possible.

The entire hospital system must raise vigilance and fully and seriously implement regulations when receiving people who come for medical examination and treatment, the deputy PM requested.

As of 6am of July 28, Vietnam had a total of 431 infections, 276 of whom were imported and quarantined immediately upon arrival in the country. As many as 365 cases have fully recovered, accounting for 84.7% of the total.
