The Hanoi Agricultural Products and Trade Villages Festival opened at No.489 Hoang Quoc Viet Str, Cau Giay district, Hanoi, on December 14.
The event was held by the People’s Committee of Hanoi and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, with the aim of promoting Hanoi agricultural products and trade villages and boosting cooperation opportunities with other provinces across the country.

The four-day festival features various activities including exhibitions and trade promotion activities with the participation of 150 units.
As many as 300 pavilions are showcasing typical agricultural and craft products and distinguished dishes of Hanoi.
Visitors will also have a chance to admire performances by artisans from Hanoi’s traditional craft villages such as bamboo and rattan crafting, embroidery, and conical hat making.
Vice Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Van Suu said that Hanoi agricultural products and trade villages have promoted their strengths, contributing to enhancing the living standards of the people and the general development of the city.
The festival is expected to introduce the achievements of Hanoi’s agriculture sector and to provide a venue for enterprises and farmers to promote their products and seek business opportunities.

to promote investment in agriculture and tourism development and consumption of
Yen The hill chickens in 2019. Attending the event were Nguyen Xuan Cuong, member
of the Central Party Committee, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development; and
Bui Van Hai, member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the provincial
Party Committee, and Chairman of the provincial People's Council.
PM urges Hai Phong to take lead in agriculture modernisation
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said he expects the northern port city of Hai Phong will take the lead in developing a modern agricultural industry while addressing a conference on October 15 to review the implementation of the national programme on new-style rural building areas in the city in 2010-2020.

endowed with rich land, favourable terrain and climate to develop high-tech
agriculture with many kinds of valuable farm produce. As defining it a strength
of the local, Bac Giang province has provided a number of policies and schemes
to support farmers and accelerate investment attraction in agriculture
especially commodity products for export.
