Over its 300-year history, the Thanh Tien paper flower making village is one of the attractive traditional craft villages in the ancient imperial city of Hue.

(BGO) - 5 years ago, Bac Giang Ornamental Creatures Association was assigned by Vietnam Ornamental Creatures Association to pilot the programme “Rice villages, flower villages”. Thanks to attention and joint efforts of the local party committee, government and people, the flower growing movement has been rapidly spread over the province from the piloted growing model in Dinh Tri commune, Bac Giang city generating high incomes for local people. 

(BGO) – The People’s Committee in Bac Giang city, Bac Giang province has focused on implementing the project to support hi-tech vegetable and flower cultivation in the city to timely put in production.

In May and June, red flamboyant flowers bloom, creating a colourful picture on the streets of the northern port city of Hai Phong as well as Hanoi.

Located over 50km from the centre of Hanoi, a lotus pond in An Phu commune, My Duc district, Hanoi, is in full bloom, attracting a large number of visitors to take photos. The scenery is beautiful thanks not only to the fragrant lotus flowers but also the limestone mountains, creating a charming landscape.
