French novelist Marc Levy visits Vietnam for second time

The renowned French writer Marc Levy has returned to Vietnam for the debut of a play adapted from his novel “Toutes ces choses qu'on ne s'est pas dites” (All Those Things We Never Said) and the release of the Vietnamese translation of his novel “Le Crépuscule des fauves”, according to the publisher Nha Nam.

This is the second time that Marc Levy has visited Vietnam. During his first visit in 2008, he had a conversation with Vietnamese readers at the French Institute in Vietnam.

His books have been translated into 37 languages and become international best-sellers.

Some of his most popular titles include “Et si c'etait vrai...” (If Only It Were True), “Vous revoir”, “Mes amis mes amours”, “La Prochaine Fois”, “Où es-tu ?” and “Sept jours pour une éternité...”, many of which have been adapted into films.

The theatrical adaptation of “Toutes ces choses qu'on ne s'est pas dites” is directed by Viet Linh and Le Chi Na.

Marc Levy will be present and have an exchange with the audience at the two performances at 7:30 pm on November 7 at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House and at the same time on November 9 at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House.

The novelist will also have a talk with readers on the occasion of the release of the Vietnamese edition of his novel “Le Crépuscule des fauves”, published by Nha Nam from 4-6 pm on November 9 at Nguyen Van Binh Book Street.
