Hanoi launches concentrated promotion programme for 2021

The Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee held a ceremony to launch the Hanoi Concentrated Promotion Programme 2021 and honour Vietnamese goods favoured by consumers at Trinh Cong Son Pedestrian Street in Tay Ho District on the evening of November 10.

Vice Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen said that the city continues to organise the Hanoi Concentrated Promotion Programme in 2021 to stimulate consumption demand and increase total retail sales of goods and services.

Enterprises with products favoured by consumers honoured at the ceremony.

This year, the programme was held in May and July and will be promoted in November and December to prepare for the New Year and Lunar New Year (Tet).

Quyen noted that the event is expected to attract the participation of thousands of enterprises in various areas to offer promotional programmes at 30 large shopping centres and more than 2,000 promotional sales points across the city.

A series of activities will be held during the concentrated promotion programme, including “Cashless day”, “Beautiful home for you”, “Hanoi shopping tourism”, “Hanoi traditional products”, “Hanoi sleepless night”, and others, to encourage the participation of enterprises from various fields in contributing to the promotion of local economic recovery.

A talk show entitled “Smart consumption and the development of e-commerce” will also be included within the framework of the programme.

At the ceremony, as many as 213 products and services were honoured as top Vietnamese products loved by consumers.

The voting for Vietnamese goods favoured by consumers in 2021 was held between August and November 2021. The annual event has been held for the 12th consecutive year to promote the brand and quality of Vietnamese products.
