The contest aims to encourage organizations and individuals in designing handicraft products, collect the opinions of several domestic and foreign handicraft experts to create new and innovative products to meet the market demand, and diversify the handicrafts of craft villages.
In addition, the contest also aims to honor and recognize the contributions and achievements of artisans over the past few years.
The contest is open to all organizations and individuals in Hanoi. Entries need to be submitted before August 30 at the Hanoi Industrial Promotion & Development Consultancy Centre, No. 176 Quang Trung Street, Ha Dong, Hanoi.
The entries are evaluated based on four criterions, including creativity, merchantability, environmental friendliness and aesthetics. In particular, the products must be designed in 2018, not infringe on intellectual property rights and regulations related to industrial property rights, and be products that have never been sent to any competition.
The organizing board will present 50 prizes, including one first prize, three-second prizes, four third prizes and 42 consolation prizes.
