Hong Xuan lychee of Luc Ngan honored as "Vietnamese Agriculture Golden Brand"
BAC GIANG - The Vietnam General Association of Agriculture and Rural Development has just held "Vietnam Agricultural Golden Brand" honoring ceremony to honor products with positive contributions to the agricultural sector.
The annual program is held nationwide as an opportunity to encourage and motivate localities and businesses that have been actively supporting farmers in improving productivity and quality of agricultural products.

This year, 88 brands and products were awarded the title "Vietnamese Agriculture Golden Brand".
Among them, many typical brands are widely preferred by consumers such as: TH TRUE HERBAL (TH Food Chain Joint Stock Company), TBR97 rice variety (THAIBINH SEED Group Joint Stock Company), Phu My NPK fertilizer (PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation), mixed feed for pigs (DE HEUS Company Limited), MobiAgri application (MOBIFONE Telecommunications Corporation), Kinh Mon onions (Hai Duong)...
At the ceremony, Bac Giang province has one product honored, which is Hong Xuan lychee of Hong Xuan Agricultural Production and General Service Cooperative in Hong Giang commune, Luc Ngan district.
Last July, this product was recognized by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development to meet the national One Commune One Product standard (5-star standard), this is also the first OCOP product of the province to be rated 5-star.
Vietnam exported over 7 million tonnes of rice worth 4.37 billion USD in the first three quarters of 2024, up 9.2% in volume and 23.5% in value compared to the same period last year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) has reported.
BAC GIANG - Due to the impact of Typhoon Yagi, many areas of vegetables ready for harvest in the northern region have been damaged, leading to a shortage of green vegetables. Currently, residents, local authorities, and relevant sectors in the province are implementing various measures to stabilise the supply of vegetables, tubers, and fruits as soon as possible.
A wide range of fruits and other agricultural specialties from various localities are being offered to consumers at Dong Da Cultural Park in Hanoi.
BAC GIANG - The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has just coordinated to open 2024 Mekong Delta OCOP (One Commune One Product) product connection forum in Kien Giang province. Bac Giang province displays a booth to introduce a number of local OCOP products.
Vietnam's fruit and vegetable exports are projected to see continued strong growth in the remaining months of the year, helping the sector to achieve its goal of 7 billion USD in export revenue.
