The event was attended by representatives of provincial departments, agencies and sectors as well as several enterprises, cooperatives, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants and those having the collective canteen in the districts of Lang Giang, Yen Dung, Viet Yen and Bac Giang city.

Addressing the conference, Vice Permanent Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Tien Dung said the local authority has always mobilized various source to develop not only the socio-economy but also the craft villages’ products, hi-tech agriculture products ensuring the food safety hygiene.

To date, the municipal authority has zoned off 6 areas to cultivate safe vegetable, covering over 30 hectares in the city whereas 10 hi-tech agriculture models and 5 collective brands of Da Mai safe vegetable, Song Mai safe vegetable, Da Mai rice vermicelli and food, Ke noodle and Ke rice cracker have been built.

At the conference, the attendants were introduced and exchanged on the products by the producers and distributors then visited the booths showcasing the typical safe produces.

Also, representatives of Bac Giang based Co.opmart, restaurants and schools inked the memorandum of understanding to link the consumption and supply of safe pork, rice vermicelli, noodle, hydroponic vegetables and other foods with Tin Nhiem Safe Food Service and Breeding Cooperative (Dong Son commune), Thang Thuy Safe Rice Vermicelli and Food Cooperative (Da Mai commune), Thien An Safe Food Company Limited, Da Mai Safe Vegetable Cooperative, Thao Thanh Trading Cooperative and Hai Ha Cooperative among others.
