Jujitsu fighters finish third at Asian Youth Championship
The national jujitsu team ranked third in the overall medal tally of the second Asian Jujitsu Youth Championship 2025 which recently closed in Thailand.
On the final competition day, Trinh Thi Nhay successfully became champion in the U18 girls’ 40kg event, reported Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV).

Other fighters also secured two gold medals in the U18 girls’ event, including Trinh Thi Hoang Anh and Chu Thi Huyen in the 52kg and 70kg categories, respectively.
Vietnam sent a total of 48 fighters to the Asian tournament, with the group bringing home a total of 14 gold, 27 silver, and 48 bronze medals to place third in the overall medal tally.
The second Asian Jujitsu Youth Championship 2025 was held in Thailand from February 12 to February 16.
A total of 536 athletes from 26 teams worldwide competed in the male and female competitions in the U14, U16, and U18 categories.
Thailand topped the medal tally with 34 gold, 23 silver, and 21 bronze medals.
