Among domestic locations, Da Nang ranked first for couples, followed by Da Lat, Nha Trang, HCMC, Phu Quoc, Hanoi, Vung Tau, Hoi An, Mui Ne, and Hue.
The list was compiled based on searches, bookings, flight reservations, and travel experiences narrated on the platform.
This year search and booking volumes for travel services have increased by 50-70% across various destinations, indicating a growing trend of traveling for special occasions.
Vietnamese couples are now moving beyond traditional date nights and opting for romantic trips together.
Vietnamese travelers are also becoming more cost-savvy, seeking ways to save while still enjoying quality services. Many take advantage of loyalty programs for discounts and book flights and tours early to secure better prices. Some also explore provider policies that offer higher discounts for bundled service bookings.
Among international destinations favored by Vietnamese travelers for Valentine’s Day, Bangkok ranked first. Bangkok and Da Nang share several attractions that appeal to tourists, including romantic experiences, diverse cuisine and a blend of modernity and cultural heritage.
The most sought-after Valentine's Day experiences in Bangkok include a cruise on the Chao Phraya River, watching the sunrise by Wat Arun, experiencing Muay Thai fights, and walking on the 310-meter-high glass Mahanakhon Skywalk.
Other popular international destinations included Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Dubai, and four other Thai destinations - Phuket, Chiang Mai, Ubud and Koh Tao.
