The Korea International Co-operation Agency (KOICA) provided a support package worth US$10,530 to the Vietnamese Women’s Union (VWU) on April 23, aiming to help disadvantaged women living in Hanoi to overcome the difficulties of Covid-19.
The package included face masks, hand sanitisers, necessities and nutritional supplements.
VWU Vice President Tran Thi Huong highly appreciated the support given by Republic of Korea’s Government for Vietnamese students and workers in the host country, as well as the enthusiastic assistance of KOICA for Vietnamese disadvantaged groups over the past years.

KOICA Country Director in Vietnam Cho Han-Deok applauded the Vietnamese Government’s efforts in the fight against Covid-19, stressing the importance of solidarity, international cooperation and mutual trust in order to win the battle together.
President of the KOICA Club, Truong Ngoc Nam said that the club will exert every effort to mobilise social resources to mitigate the negative impacts of Covid-19 on disadvantaged groups, particularly women.
Bac Giang surmounts difficulties to support lychee consumption

City are facing difficulties. Along with the monthly support for poor and
near-poor households, on this occasion, the municipal Party Committee and
authorities are mobilizing the community to join hands to help those with
unexpected difficulties to stabilize their lives.
